  1. 2 lbs beef tongue
  2. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  3. 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. - Place beef tongue in a pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 2 hours until tender; remove, peel off outer skin, and let cool slightly.
  2. - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. - Season tongue with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; place in a roasting pan and roast for 45-60 minutes until browned.
  4. - Slice and serve warm.
