  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  2. 1/4 cup butter, softened
  3. 1/4 cup sugar (for crust)
  4. 2 large eggs
  5. 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
  6. 1/4 cup lemon juice

Directions

  1. - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. - In a medium bowl, mix flour, butter, and 1/4 cup sugar to form a dough; press into an 8x8 inch baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. - Whisk eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, and lemon juice; pour over crust and bake for 15 more minutes until set; cool and cut into 4 bars.
  4. - Serve at room temperature.
