Banana and Peanut Butter Oatmeal

  1. 1 cup rolled oats (gluten-free for Gluten-Free tag)
  2. 2 cups water
  3. 1 banana , peeled and sliced
  4. 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring water to a boil.
  2. Stir in rolled oats, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 8-10 minutes until oats are soft, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in cinnamon and peanut butter until melted and combined, then divide into two bowls.
  4. Top each bowl with half the banana slices.
  5. Serve warm.
