  1. 4 slices dairy-free whole grain bread (gluten-free for Gluten-Free tag)
  2. 4 ounces sliced turkey breast
  3. 1 ripe avocado, pitted and mashed
  4. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  7. 2 lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix mashed avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread avocado mixture evenly over two bread slices.
  3. Layer each with 2 ounces turkey and 1 lettuce leaf.
  4. Top with remaining bread slices, slice in half, and serve immediately.
