  1. 1 (4-ounce) can sardines in oil, drained
  2. 1 medium tomato, sliced
  3. 4 slices whole grain bread
  4. 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  5. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on two slices of bread.
  2. Flake sardines and layer on the mayonnaise, top with tomato slices, and sprinkle with black pepper.
  3. Top with the remaining bread slices.
