  2. 1 cup dried lentils, rinsed
  3. 4 cups chicken broth
  4. 1 onion , chopped
  5. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  6. 1 teaspoon cumin

Directions

  1. - Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat, sauté onion for 3-4 minutes, add sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. - Add lentils, broth, cumin, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil, then simmer for 30-35 minutes until lentils are tender.
