Ingredients
- 8 ounces ground turkey
- 1/4 cup almond flour (or breadcrumbs for non-GF)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup marinara sauce (no sugar for Whole30)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, almond flour, egg, salt, and pepper, mixing well, and form into 6 meatballs.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
- Cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes (internal temperature 165°F).
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Divide into two servings (3 meatballs each) and serve hot.
Storage
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
