  1. 4 pork chops (bone-in, 6 oz each)
  2. 2 apples , peeled and chopped
  3. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  4. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  5. - Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. - Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, season pork chops with salt and pepper; cook for 6-8 minutes per side until done (145°F/63°C).
  2. - In a saucepan, cook apples with remaining oil, cinnamon, and a splash of water over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until soft, then mash into applesauce.
  3. - Serve each chop with 1/4 cup applesauce warm.
