Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ripe avocado, pitted and sliced
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, thyme, salt, and pepper, mixing well with hands.
- Form mixture into 8 equal patties (about 2 ounces each).
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
- Cook patties in batches, 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
- Serve 2 patties per plate warm, topped with 1/4 sliced avocado per serving.
Storage
Refrigerate patties in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 1 month. Store avocado separately and add fresh.
